Thank you for your extremely generous donation of coats and other warm clothing. Hundreds and hundreds of coats came in this year. We were able to distribute them to the homeless people in Washington, DC, as well as southern Maryland, southern Virginia and Alabama, and some even went to an Indian reservation in New Mexico. May God bless all who gave.
The Homeless Outreach, Inc., is an independent, Christian, non-profit, interdenominational organization which ministers to homeless and needy people in the Metropolitan Washington, D.C. area. We minister to the physical and spiritual needs of homeless mothers and children by supplying clothing, food, and spiritual aid. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, and through the love and power of Jesus Christ, individuals, businesses, and other organizations are solicited for support in providing clothing, food, Bibles, other useful items and monetary contributions for the purchase of such items. Distributions of these items are made either directly by the Homeless Outreach or through the churches, shelters, or other organizations which are established in ministering to the homeless and needy population in our area.
